Dear Robin, I love your website! It is so well made! Also, believe it or not, I met actor Jim Carrey when he used to attend a small prebyterian church on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills back in 1991. Jim told me that one day that he's going to become a superstar... Well, he really did!

Greetings, smaller half of the Dyanamic Duo. Are you Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, or some other wearer of the red-and-green tights and yellow cape? Nice site. All I checked out were the 60s pages. They were sufficient to impel me to add my own memories there. (If ya care, I got there by Googling popeye thanks for the gumball, hoping to find a picture of one of those old toys to prove to my mother that such commercials really did air all those years ago.) Later, SE neighbor.

We both fell off our chairs laughing at the cowflinging and the blonde jokes! You really have worked miracles on this site. Well done, Robin (male and a Led Zep fan) and Graciela (female and a mean cow flinger).

Hi Robin, I saw your Cookie Exchange feature on the Food Network and was impressed, entertained AND inspired!!! I plan to host an exchange of my own in 2002. Your website is wonderful! I really enjoyed your 60's and 70's reminiscing. I'm 45, married to a 36 year old Englishman from London and we have a 3 year old little girl. Your bright, humorous outlook on life was especially welcome considering the times. I joined your list and look forward to visiting your site often!!! Thanks again, Jeri

I stumbled upon your website and really enjoyed your wonderful garden site. I've been on the internet since before Mosaic brought www and have never signed a guestbook until now. I just wanted to compliment you on your site. One comment-- I wouldn't recommend regularly watering your lawn/garden at 4 AM. It would be better a few hours later when the sun is rising.

Robin, After seeing your website, I was inspired to have my own cookie exchange. I had it yesterday, 12/16 and had 16 women over for the event. It went very smoothly, thank mostly to your tips. I served appetizers (baked brie, shrip dip, tortilla roll-ups, chilled veggie pizza) and drinks. Everyone enjoyed it. We were able to make 2 trips around the table each. I am going to remind everyone before next year's party to be sure that they bring a very large Tupperware container to take their cookies home in. Some of my guests ran out of room in their containers. I held the party for 2 hours. Many of my friends have small children, so between babysitters and all the other holiday stuff going on, the 2 hours was a good amount of time. Thanks again for all the tips, it was just great. It will be the first of many!
