Loved the web site, this is my goal to put on next year (in the middle of remodeling this year). Lots of good ideas. Looks like putting it on with a friend might be a good idea, to start with at least. Thanks!

I enjoyed the recipes, made coipies of some and will add some when I get home from work. Can you tell where my mind is at, definitely not on catching bad guys at work. I am the chief cookie maker around our house and the wife and kids are the cookie tasters, I also help with the latter of course. Anyway, good luck and I enjoyed the web site and will re-visit. tony

I love your site...I am going to a cookie swap at work next Monday and am baking Pecan Tassies today for that. Based on Sarah Moulton's show yesterday, I am thinking of beginning a yearly traditional cookie swap with my best friend (of 45 yrs - I am 48 today!) each year and will use your tips. You certainly have terrific ideas and wonderful spirit! Merry Christmas. Kitt Jacques

I saw you on the Food network last night. Great ideas! I took part in a cookie exchange a few years ago. Unfortunately we ended up with a lot of tarts and shortbread. I have been making my own variety of Christmas cookies instead. With your hints I think I can plan a more successful party. Thanks!

FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO SAY IS," IT IS A HONOUR TO MEET SOMEONE WHO HAS THE SAME INTREST AS I HAVE EVEN IF IT IS ON LINE". I SEEN YOUR PROGRAM ON THE FOOD NETWORK CHANNEL AND THEN COULDN'T WAIT TO FINALLY CHECK OUT YOUR SITE. I THINK IT IS ONE OF THE BEST COOKIE SITES I HAVE EVER SEEN. I AM 34 YRS OLD MARRIED OF 5 YRS AND A STAY HOME MUM WITH 2 BOY'S AGES 4 & 6. I SUMMITED A RECEIPE FOR MY VERSION OF SNOWBALLS AND I HOPE YOU GET A CHANCE TO TRY THEN. THEY HAVE BEEN IN MY FAMILY FOR MORE THEN 40YRS. AND EVERY YEAR AROUND CHRISTMAS I MAKE 12 DOZ. OF THEM AS WELL AS MY VERSION OF SHORTBREAD COOKIES FOR GIFTS. I HAVE TO SAY IT IS MUCH EASIER TO FEED A FRIEND AT CHRISTMAS THEN TO BUY SOMETHING YOU THINK THEY MIGHT LIKE. ANYWAY MY DEAR I WON'T BORE YOU ANY MORE I KNOW YOU MUST BE BUSY RIGHT NOW. I can't wait for the payoff--all those delicious cookies for the season! Robin, are you going to be featured on the Food Network this season, or any chance of them repeating your exchange? Also, has any magazines featured your exchanges? You make it look so easy!! Happy Holidays

I teach a homebound student. One of our math projects is to make dozens of cookies. She has to figure how many dozen we need to fill the many cookie tins her mothers provides to be used as gifts. She also has to figure a shopping list of all the needed ingredients. This year, we added the requirement that at least one recipe we used must come from the web. Thanks for providing so many to choose from.
