the "american primitive" guitar pioneers of the 60's... John Fahey of Takoma Park, Robbie Basho of Baltimore, and less known but still influential Max Ochs of Annapolis. Also Joe Bussard of Frederick who probably has the worlds largest and rarest collection of prewar 78's, the real blues and stuff. The first to record john fahey also. These guys are legendary Marylanders in my opinion.
