How to play
the card game Blitz!

The object of the game is to have fun!

All players need to each have a dollar bill on the table.

Everyone is dealt three cards.

The remaining cards are put in the middle of the table with the top card flipped over to start the discard pile.

The person to the left of the dealer starts.

Choose either a new card or from discard pile. Try to watch what other people are picking up.

The object is to try to get 31 points. Aces are 11 points. A "Blitz" is when you have an ace and two face cards of the same suit. You could have 31 without being a Blitz by having an ace, a ten and a face card.

You don't need a Blitz to win the hand. You just have to have the highest amount of points.

If you have 25 points and you think everyone else is lower, then you knock on the table.

If you are going to knock, then you can't take a card for your turn, you just knock.

That means everyone else gets one more go around the table.

Then everyone shows their hand, with you showing first.

Count the points.

The lowest hand has to fold a corner on their dollar bill.

Who ever has four folds is out. Play until there are two people left. Winner gets the $$$.

A "Blitz" stops the game.

If you get one  then you call out "Blitz" and everyone (but you) has to fold.

If someone has already knocked and you get a Blitz then you just get to count your cards as 31.

A Blitz must be called before a knock.

If you knock and you tie with others in point amounts the knocker loses the hand and must fold.

The more people playing the merrier. It's a blast!
