Comments: I am so impressed with the creation of this site!!! It has inspired me to learn how to create websites and become a real webmaster! I recently have made a very big change in my life - I have decided to reduce my full time work schedule to twenty hours a week and do the things that are most important to me. (My husband is psyched, too!) I do not have children yet but maybe once I am out of the crazy rat race and relaxing, creating, learning and growing I will be blessed with children. I am wondering what books you used to learn how to make websites. Maybe you could e-mail me? I love crab legs and girlie drinks. I especially love Billy Joel!!!! My husband and I just saw him in Boston on Nov. 30th and he was as always very good. I have seen him literally ten times. I must admit though he has seemed to have lost his passion for performing on stage - oh well! Must be getting a little old for jumping off pianos like he used to. Hi Robin! Thanks for the stroll downmemory lane! I have bookmarked your site. My brothers and sisters will love it,too. Funny Face drinks! I couldn't remember the name of that stuff. We loved it! Banana seats, Butterfly Handlebars, Sissybars...You show a picture of Iron Butterfly's "Ina-gadda-da-vida"(sp?). That was the first album I ever bought...Thanks again for the memories! Had to chuckle when I read about your background. I was born in Santa Monica, raised in Pacific Palisades, went to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, went back to CA after military and met my wife (who was originally from VA), and moved back to Maryland after we too "HAD ENOUGH". We experienced the Calabasas fire (not as close as you), lost a few walls and antiques in the '94 quake, and simply got sick of not having the seasons, similar to you. We returned to Maryland in Oct. '97, looking forward to a beautiful white winter. Well, you know how that turned out. We used to frequent Santa Barbara as well, loved to go to Amigos Mexican restaurant and have chips, salsa and an ice cold margarita. The zoo was second to none. Anyway, you have a terrific website, and it's obvious that you enjoy your computer. I haven't yet learned HTML, but will probably do so at some time. What part of MD did you settle in? R&B

Robin, I really enjoyed my visit to your WebSite and wandering through the past. Keep up the good work.I've read about your family's experiences in California. It makes me feel more confident in my decision to not transfer to Santa Barbara when my company made an offer that was kind of difficult to refuse about 6 months ago. I spent two weeks out there checking out places and trying to make a decision. (I even had a house reserved.) But I got back home to Nashville and said "Nope I don't want to live out there." So I stayed in contact with the clients that like my style of technical support and opened my company - Epic Solutions. Haven't regretted it for one minute.I'm not on the WEB yet, but I have been giving it some serious thought. Like the CEO of AMAZON.COM said what it did for his business can be compared to "taking a sip on a fire hose." It opened his business tremendously.
