We Didn't Start The Fire 2006

Here we are on the eve of a major congressional election. Boy, how my opinion has changed since the last election. I am so disillusioned with George Bush and his 'War on Terror'.

I can't believe we took over an entire sovereign country. Since the beginning of time when a country is taken over --that defeated country becomes part of the country that stole it/ won the war. All roads lead to Rome, right?

Trying to civilize and democratize HEATHENS is not going to work. Historically, it's never worked, so why should now be any different?

I've been to the Middle East, Israel to be exact. In fact I was personally attacked by rabid, arm waving, stone throwing Palestinians! (a story which I have never written about on my site.) To say these people are backwards would be an understatement.

I am swinging from Centrist Republican of 25 years to Centrist Democrat because I believe the Dems will "first do no harm" more than the GOP, who are way too aggressive, too testosterone charged on everything; war, taxes, upping the deficit, stem cells, gay marriage...

The trust factor is GONE. This is not the same GOP I started with, when Ronald Reagan was President. It's morphed into something else entirely.

Just thinking out load:
I wonder what the survivors of the 66,000 dead Iraqi's think of George and his lil' vision for their world?

We didn't start the fire 2006

WE NEED TO CHANGE THE COURSE --VOTE DEM!!!

Rove foresees GOP victory

So Karl Rove forsees a GOP Victory.

I tried very hard to find a poll or any data to back up his sentiment, but I couldn't. Maybe he was taking a poll looking in the mirror. Delusional! Or maybe they 'know' how they're going throw or buy the electorate. It's not like that has happened before. Right, Florida?

Check out:
Pew Trust, Zogby, Gallup, NY Times

It appears the Dems are quite ahead. Everyone is sick of the incumbents.
