This afternoon I had a
Martha Stewart Moment:I was cleaning out my car, giving it a good "top to bottom" and ran out of
Windex.
Ingenuity got the best of me, here's what I did:
Refilled the empty container with hot water,
added 5 tablespoons of ammonia and 3 drops of blue food coloring.
Viola! Homemade Windex!

Conversation with my 14 year old daughter this morning....Me: Why is your pillow on the floor of the laundry room?
Steph: My lizard peed on it.
Me: Why was your lizard on your pillow?
Steph: He wasn't
on my pillow. I was sitting on my bed holding him and he peed and it got on my pillow.
Me:
Why don't we throw that pillow away....

The kids aren't rotten, they just smell that way..... Summer is fun for kids, but a lot of work for mom.
Drive me here, drive me there, non stop sleep overs, 10 or more kids a day
in our pool, the laundry never ends.
The food is gone before I unload the grocery
bags...
practically.
Schools only been out for 12 days... yikes.
I've been spending a lot of time in my garden.
The plants don't talk back!

her so much right now. :(Then I realized that this email occurred exactly one year ago today and nearly
to the minute.

I was trying to think of a way for you to visit.......Maybe you could come
in a few weeks and it could be just me and you, or us and Sean and maybe
Steph. Kim and David have baseball all summer -- into August. Let me know
when you could do that.... Can you plan to have a chemo treatment from a
nearby hospital? Can doctors arrange something like that? ASK. That way,
instead of rushing around, it would be more relaxing. But whatever the time
allowed, IT WOULD BE SO GREAT TO SEE YOU!!! It's been 5 years, can you believe
it? We will be in Ocean City from July 3-10th. See if you can come around
the 16th or 18th of July.
Robin's daydream..............
::::::::::::We'll sit on da' beach....under an umbrella, eating steak and
cheese subs, listening to tunes, stare at the ocean, reading trash novels
and the Enquirer, stare at the life guards and the cute dudes walking by,
read the airplane banners, watching all the fat people being burned (and
we'll be one of them, I'm a chub right now!) And at night, we'll eat crabs
and I'll take you to this cool new restaurant on top of a building that looks
like you're in Jamaica, jerk chicken, mon', live music, talking parrots the
whole nine yards. We'll stroll (slowly, lol, there's benches everywhere)
on the boardwalk. We'll play Keno and try to win some $$. We'll have dinner
at BJ's South and take a free boat ride with every dinner, watch the sunset
over the bay. I'll take you to Assateague Island where we can see the wild
ponies running free, it's said that it's good luck if you can see them...

Or we can go back to Seacrets --that's the restaurant you fell asleep in
last time you were here -<G>! And if your feeling really adventurous,
we'll go parasailing again! WEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Oh, Patti,
it would be so great! Lets see if we can do this!!!!!! Love ya!!
